About Me

I am a writer of womens fiction, or chick lit as it is often called. I am also an editor. I love what I do, writing thought-provoking sagas about multi-cultural, sexy, savvy women. I throw a few men in the mix too– because if I didn’t, who would my ladies have to love, or hate on? I have recently ventured into the arena of non-fiction as well. My books are available on Amazon.com, or ask for them in your local Barnes & Noble or Books-A-Million bookstores.

Happy Reading!

  1. Hi April! You know I’m a huge fan of yours, and even though you’re WAY overqualified, I nominated you for The Liebster Award! You probably have a collection of these, but it never hurts to be reminded of how fabulous you are and that all of the hard work you put into your blog is appreciated! Here’s the link: http://www.emptyspoonful.com/emptyspoonful/2013/11/05/the-coveted-liebster-award/ Congrats and don’t ever stop writing!

    • Laura, the feeling is mutual and I cannot thank you enough! Don’t you stop writing, cooking, or writing about cooking. I get hungry just looking at your beautiful photos and reading your most informative posts. Good eatin’!
